Something was missing.....If I only knew what it was....I could feel the hole where the missing piece was, I just didn't know where the rest of the pieces of the puzzle were or what they looked like.

I felt like a plain jane - mousy, awkward and invisible. There was a sadness inside of me that I just couldn't lift.

It was like a dark cloud that just hung around and I really didn't know what it was like to not be there, so I didn't know how to make it go away.

I hid behind my glasses and could feel my energy slip into corners so that I wouldn't be seen.

Even my clothes didn't match my energy and kept me hidden instead.

I was uncomfortable in my body, my clothes, my life.

The emptiness was deep and it just kept getting bigger and bigger and I had no choice but to keep looking till I found the right piece.

The truth was that I wasn’t connected with my energy….. And I didn’t know it….All I knew was that something was missing.

THEN I DISCOVERED the secrets to connecting with my energy.

The first step involved clearing some old energy that was stuck in my body.

I had asthma and the normal solutions didn’t seem to be working I didn't know what the answer was but I knew that spending the rest of my life on meds and inhalers that made me feel wired and gave me nosebleeds was not the answer. I began searching everywhere for a different solution. It felt hopeless until I met a metaphysical healer who said the answer was simple.

I was incredulous at first but he was the only one that had offered a solution. I had nothing to lose. I wanted to breathe again.

He explained to me that trauma/emotions get stuck in our bodies and they create physical issues that tell us what needs to be addressed ….if we know how to listen to it.

Through muscle testing, he quickly pinpointed the story that was stuck. My father had died when I was a year old. At 1 year old, my brain wasn’t developed enough to grieve properly. This was part of that hole that I felt…it was filled with tears I never cried. It was filled with grief that I didn't even know was there because I really didn't know life without it.

I made the choice to release that grief, to release those tears. 3 days after the healing, The tears filled my eyes. I went to the bathroom to get a towel to sob into. I opened the cupboard and started to reach for a towel. Then it was like something in my body stopped me and said.

"I want the GREEN towel".

It was very adamant. It was also right. Green helps you deal with emotional changes. And the next few hours were full of emotional change.

Of course I needed green to help me get through 25 years of unshed tears. I sobbed for 3 hours. And I haven’t had an attack since. It was lifchanging to release those tears, joy in the ability to cry them out without losing my ability to breath, joy in discovering a me without that grief bottled up inside. Joy in creating a new relationship with my father by letting go of the sadness.

I was so impacted by this that I had to learn the techniques myself so that I could continue his techniques on myself and others.

Soon after that I discovered another layer of color that changed how I saw the world and everything in it. And it connected me with my energy, filling in the rest of that empty space. It gave me what I needed to feel whole again. I never would have imagined that my missing piece was color.

I discovered the energy around different colors. Interior design taught me about color psychology, but it didn’t tell me which shade of a color to choose for a client. Learning about the ENERGY around colors told me which shades to choose. Learning about the ENERGY of color also showed me which colors to use to improve my daily activities, whether I was writing, learning, teaching, designing. The right colors could improve my client meetings, could make date night more romantic and so much more. The information made me look at color in a whole different way. It changed how I looked at the world.

It changed my relationship with me.

I could see my power, I could see my strengths in a way I had never seen before.

It reconnected me with my energy. It filled the other half of that hole. This was the other missing puzzle piece that i had no idea how to fill.

Connecting with my energy made me feel more me. I felt more powerful. I felt more confident. I felt pretty. I felt at one with my body. I felt one with my energy. I found ME, a me I had not really seen before.

No longer did I feel like a plain jane. I wasn't Jane at all. I was Jeanette. I learned to celebrate the best parts of me and feel like I was shining from the inside out.

Kathy had watched her parents and sister die in the family home. Years of illness had taken it's toll on the house and her. That much grief in a short period of time was overwhelming. She didn't feel like the house was hers and she didn't know how to make it hers.

When we met, she was breaking.

Tina's home felt uneasy in her but she didn't know why or what to fix. She cleaned and cleaned but the house still somehow felt "unclean". In the span of 3 years, Kathy had lost her parents and her sister. She was the only one now. The grief was devastating. Everywhere in the house there were signs of illness.
